New Teen Driver Classes
Instruction consists of 24 hours of class time and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel, one-on-one instruction. This class fulfills the State of Ohio driver's education requirement for all applicants under 18 years of age.
Students must be 15 years and 5 months old to enroll. A permit is not required at the start of class.
Sessions run for 2 consecutive weeks.
Monday thru Thursday 5:30pm - 8:35pm.
During the summer, we also offer a morning class Monday through Thursday 9:00am - 12:05pm, for 2 consecutive weeks.
Summer morning and evening classroom sessions run concurrently. Students are permitted to switch between the morning and evening classes as long as sessions are not full.
Registration for new students consists of the parent and student completing an agreement form, a simple emergency medical form, and making payment prior to the start of class. Registration typically takes about 15 minutes.

Walk-ins are also welcome provided classes are not full.
Classroom material consists of topics such as:
· Highway Transportation System & Signs
· Basic Vehicle Controls
· Natural Laws related to driving
· Purchasing a Vehicle & Insurance
· Driving in different environments
· Intersections & sharing the roadway
· Defensive driving techniques
· Impact of drugs and alcohol on driving
· Driving in adverse conditions
· and much more
The one-on-one, behind-the-wheel driving time is done in 4 two hour long sessions.
Scheduling for drive time can occur any time after the student has attended their first class and can be scheduled around their individual activities.
Typically, students are picked up at our school for their driving sessions. During their scheduled hour, students will encounter many lessons in rural, residential, city, and highway driving, maneuverability and parking
